Are the trucks and crew your own?
Yes, always. Able runs a six-truck fleet from Central Ave with our own uniformed W-2 crew, licensed and insured, Arizona and interstate authority on file. Nobody hands your job off to a broker or a stranger.
What does a move cost?
Two movers and a truck run $139/hr, three movers $199/hr, with a two-hour minimum. A studio usually lands at $420–$560 and a two-bedroom at $860–$1,280, given as a written band up front.
Why do you start at sunrise?
Because it is Phoenix. Loading at first light keeps your leather, candles, and electronics out of a 130-degree trailer and gets the crew working before the afternoon heat.
Is the written quote binding?
It is. We build the stairs, the long carries, and the heavy pieces into the quote up front, so the signed figure is what stands. Want a hard ceiling? We write a not-to-exceed cap right into the quote.
Do you require a deposit?
A $90 deposit locks your date and is credited straight to the final bill. Reschedule or cancel with 48 hours notice and the deposit comes back in full.
How and when do I pay?
Payment comes at the end, once the work is finished, never before. Pay by any major card, check, or cash, and you sign off on the total on site.
Do you handle gated and HOA communities?
All the time. We arrange the gate check-in and HOA move window ahead of the date, from Sun City to Paradise Valley, so nothing holds up move day.
Do you move hot tubs, pool tables, and pianos?
Yes, the heavy awkward stuff is a specialty, with boards, dollies, and straps on the truck. Hot tubs from $425, pool tables re-leveled, pianos and safes handled, quoted in writing.
How far in advance should I book?
A few days covers most midweek dates. Weekends, month-end, and the snowbird season fill fast, so call early for those.
What if something gets damaged?
Standard coverage follows the federal rate of 60 cents per pound, and full-value protection runs about 1 to 3 percent of the declared value. You have nine months to file, and we document anything on site.
